Canada reopens to UK visitors

The Canada Border Services Agency confirmed that the Canadian border would reopen to visitors from the UK (and other countries).

As from Tuesday, international visitors can return to Canada for leisure and business purposes.

Canada have had strict Quarantine protocols and restrictions against non-essential travel in place since the start of the pandemic.

Visitors from the UK that have been fully vaccinated will be able to skip isolation, but will still need a negative test less than three days before arriving into Canada.

Unvaccinated children under the age of 12 don’t have to isolate regardless, but must follow strict rules for 14 days.

Canada is among the latest countries added to the United Kingdom’s green travel list, meaning Canadian travellers will no longer have to quarantine upon arriving in the country.
