- From 22nd September 8 countries have been removed from the red list, including popular holiday destinations: Turkey, Egypt & Maldives,
- From 4th October, there will only be a red list, which will make things easier.Fully vaccinated travellers, will no longer have to do a test to come back in to the UK.
- From the end of October the day 2 PCR test on return will be able to be replaced by a cheaper lateral flow test.
Children under 18 are exempt from quarantine and will just need the day 2 test.
Testing for unvaccinated passengers from non-red countries will still include pre-departure tests in resort, day 2 and day 8 PCR tests. Quarantine for test with test to release remaining an option to reduce self-isolation period.
Each country has their own testing rules to enter their countries, hopefully they will start to reduce these, but if you need any help with what countries will need tests I am always happy to help.
