Travelodge Check in time

What time is Travelodge Check in Time?

Travelodge check in time is the same for all of their UK hotels. You can check in and obtain your keycard from 1500.

This is a little later than most hotels where check in is usually from mid-day.

If you are visiting a city and staying at a Travelodge, it may be worth planning your train or coach to arrive for around 1430 – this then gives you time to get to the hotel once the check in is open at 1500.

Can I pay for early check in at a Travelodge?

If you need to check in before the set time of 1500 – you can pay a small supplement to get access to your room early.

The fee is usually £10 and this will get you an early check in from 1200.

This can be booked when you make your initial reservation for a room, or you can add onto your booking at a later stage by managing your booking. There is a link in your confirmation to access your booking and add on the early check in.

You can also add on other extras such as wifi, breakfast & late check out.

Do Travelodge ever let you check in early for free?

If you arrive less than an hour before the 1500 standard check in time – if the room is ready, and you are polite and friendly – they will usually let you check in a little early for free.

Please note that we hold no responsibility if you are denied free early check in  – we just know from experience that they are usually a little flexible providing it is less than an hour.

If you arrive more than an hour before the 1500 check in, then you are likely to have to pay for it.

Is the early check in always available?

If you book early and select the upgrade when you reserve your room, then you are pretty much guaranteed your early check in.

If you leave it to last minute and just turn up at 1200 – it will depend on how busy the hotel is. If they are full to capacity it is unlikely that you will be offered the opportunity for an early check in at any Travelodge.
