Fancy spending the next 3 years working and living on-board a cruise? Miray Cruises is launching a brand new ship aimed at the Digital Nomad community.
Their MV Gemini ship is being remodeled to become a long-term floating home and office, geared towards remote workers. The ship will set sail in autumn of this year and will visit every continent throughout its journey, taking along over 1,000 lucky passengers.
The cruise will operate as All Inclusive and be adapted to be better suited to working at sea. Offering facilities such as business centre and much better internet speeds than you usually find onboard ships.
The cruise starts at around £25000 per year. Considering this includes accommodation, an office and all your food and bills, it is competitive.
The biggest snag, however, is you have to commit to staying on the cruise for the full 3 years!
Their website claims the ship will contain 14 offices, a business Library and staff ready to help with office duties such as printing.
They also claim there may be some tax benefit to working at sea.
The £25000 per year is all inclusive and includes access to all the restaurants, alcohol with dinner, services charges, free medical consultations, full gym membership.
Could you live and work on a ship for 3 years? Would paying £2083 a month for food, accom, office, gym, alcohol be cheaper than you pay at home anyway?
The Cruise departs Istanbul on 01st Nov – you can read more about it here.
