- It is very close to Istanbul airport (IST) – the transfer time is around 15 minutes and you can jump in a taxi from the airport to the hotel for around 150 Lira £6.44. The hotel does have a private transfer service but this costs 25 euros – so much cheaper to jump in a taxi. We recommend not telling your driver where you are going until you are set to go as they prefer the long jobs not the quick ones!
- The rooms at Loft Airport Hotel Istanbul are much nicer than the bargain price suggests. They are modern, clean and very comfortable. They are spacious and have all the comforts you need for a short one night stay.
- They are flexible if you just want to use the room during the night or day due to a long connection. The reception is staffed 24 hours and are pleasant and helpful. Some of the staff at Loft Airport Hotel Istanbul speak good English whilst others you may need to use a bit of Google Translate.
- They have fast and reliable Wifi available if you need to get some work done or watch some netflix on the room smart tv. The Wifi at Loft Hotel Istanbul is completely free and you can connect as many devices as you wish.
- Whilst no restaurant on site, the reception has a food delivery menu of very delicious Turkish food (Kebabs & Salads etc). Simply ask the reception for your choice and they will arrange it for you to your room. A meal for one person cost around 170 Lira delivered.
The hotel also offers you a breakfast delivered for 6 euros too. - The Loft Airport Hotel Istanbul is much cheaper than other hotels in the area of the same or even lesser standard. We think it is by far the best value airport hotel for Istanbul.
- Rooms have a safe, kettle with a selection of teas provided, water is available in the minibar. Considering the price these are not expected but very much appreciated by guests.
- Should you have a late flight, the hotel are flexible in letting you check out later. The price depends on how late you need but is generally around just 15 euros to keep the room on.
- The Loft Airport Hotel Istanbul offers excellent WhatsApp support pre and post booking. As soon as you book they will send you a WhatsApp and they are very fast to respond to any questions or requests (such as late check out).
What is near to Loft Airport Hotel Istanbul
The area around the Loft Airport Hotel Istanbul offers nothing exciting – we only recommend the hotel should you need a bed / comfortable room prior to your flight at Istanbul airport.
There is a small selection of Cafes & a mini market. The area is mainly residential with a lot of other airport hotels such as Ibis & Pearl Hotel.
Whilst not unsafe – there are a lot of stray dogs in the area and it’s quite a depressing neighbourhood. You choose the hotel for the cheapness and proximity to the airport – don’t stay here if you want a touristic or pleasant neighborhood.
The centre of Istanbul is quite far – so if you wanted to sightsee we would suggest staying at a Central Hotel in Istanbul and not the Loft Airport Hotel.

We found the cheapest place to book the Loft Airport Hotel is booking.com – however the website is blocked inside of Turkey. You will either need to book before you travel, whilst not in Turkey – or use a VPN to book inside of Turkey.
Alternatively you can book via Agoda whilst actually in Turkey for a similar price.
