The tourism giant, TUI, has launched its programme of the summer holidays of 2022 from Manchester Airport for sale as a response to the rapidly growing post-Covid hunger for travel.
The holidays from Manchester Airport will be on sale from the 5th of November 2021, with offers including free kids’ places and, unfortunately, no deposits on direct debit bookings made online.
With the continuous travel corridor uncertainty, people craving the sun during the year’s coldest months have already pre-booked for winter 2022, with strong demand, particularly for Jamaica and Cancun.
With almost 57% of the customers expecting to book a Mediterranean beach holiday this year, TUI anticipates even greater demand for summer 2022 as people wish to make up for not getting to go away in 2021. Greece is the popular destination of choice, with Egypt and Turkey not far behind, and various patterns indicate that these trends could continue into 2022.
TUI’s programme for the summer of 2022 from Manchester Airport will have 56 destinations on offer, including six hotspots, i.e., Cancun, Cuba, Punta Cana, Puerto Vallarta, Jamaica, and Florida. TUI has also increased its Cancun programme with daily operational flights.
TUI will also be offering 233 different options in around 155 hotels for this growing category of tourists in the summer of 2021 and expects this trend to be continued in summer 2022.
TUI also offers 150 villas with car hire included for summer 2021 and 2022 in Cyprus, Canary Islands, Greece, Balearic Islands, Turkey, mainland Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Florida.
Jet2CityBreaks and Jet2.com:
British Airline, Jet2CityBreaks, and Jet2.com have announced that they will operate flights from the Manchester Airport to Iceland all through the summer of 2022. The flights will run every Monday and Thursday between April and October from the Manchester Airport to the Keflavík Airport.
The customers can choose between the flight-only option with Jet2.com and a package option with Jet2CityBreaks. This comes in direct response to British tourists and gives the Icelandic nationals access to Manchester and the North West of England.
Jet2CityBreaks and Jet2.com have been flying to Iceland since 2019.
There has been a significant demand from the customers for flights and holidays to the remarkable destination of Iceland.
The Keflavik Airport has partnered up with Jet2.com, and they have decided to extend their winter activities into the summer season. They will announce a new route from the Manchester Airport to the Keflavik Airport in Iceland for summer 2022.
