Hyde Leisure Pool:

The first on our list is the Hyde Leisure Pool. This fabulous water attraction is based within the Hyde Leisure Centre. It is considered to be Tameside’s lead swimming zone.

There are numerous slides to keep the families entertained. The Red Ripster Slide is full of turns and twists as you spiral above the pool. The children can shoot Water Cannons into the pool underneath, ride Water Rapids and when the Wave Machine comes on, make sure you are inside the pool!

The underwater fountains are splendid for the kids, and the parents can enjoy the Jacuzzis or the bubble beds as they watch over their kids in the pool.

Gulliver’s Splash Zone:

The next on our list is the Gulliver’s Splash Zone Warrington!

You’re absolutely going to have a blast, as long as you don’t mind getting a little wet! It doesn’t matter how old you are. There are sessions of Splash Tots designated for the most senior to even the youngest members of the family.

A thrilling Splash Wipeout area, six exciting mega slides, together with lots of activities and games on offer, every family member will be thoroughly entertained from the start to the end!

And if you want to stay out of the water, you’ve got nothing to fear. This amazing Splash Zone also has a dry area where you can sit and enjoy a cup or two of coffee while the little ones play. You’ll have a clear view of all the action in the pools so that you can keep your eye on the kids at all times.

Huddersfield Leisure Centre:

For a fabulous day out, look no further than the Huddersfield Leisure Centre Splash Park. Whether swimming or sliding, there’s plenty to keep the kids busy.

Amongst the slides is the Sidewinder, which boomerangs you into the sky, then back down to earth in a big rubber ring. Next is the Lazy River, which, as the name suggests, floats you around curves and past the water cannons at a smooth, gentle pace.

The centre also has an eight-lane 25m long pool where the more serious swimmers can train, while the little ones can have fun in the kiddie pool.
